Whoever coined the phrase "when you know, you know" had the right idea. Jen and Ryan met at the beginning of 2024 while casually perusing the world of dating apps both for the first time ever. Neither of them had any idea that their time on the apps would be incredibly short, because - well - when you know you know. Ryan showed up late to their first date, which is wildly ironic because he's never late to anything and Jen's usually still drying her hair when she's supposed to be leaving the house. They shared drinks and four hours of conversation at Local 44 in Philadelphia and by the time Ryan walked her home, she had already texted at least ten people to say "uh oh, I really like him." Ryan must have felt the same way because he cut his vacation short just to get back home in time to see Jen again before too long. The two then began the dance of figuring out how to spend every possible moment together despite their busy schedules and the hour of physical distance between them. They also had their pups to consider. Luckily, Kirk, Jen's little hot dog, made himself at home with his new big/little sisters Beatrice and Chianti right away.

The subsequent two years have been nothing short of a whimsical, romantic, chaotic adventure filled with more love than either of them ever knew was possible. They built a home together first in Pennsylvania and now in Orlando. They have spent countless hours driving to and from the homes of their nieces and nephews and, much to no one's surprise but Ryan's, just as many hours in Disney World showing their beloved visitors the best times.

As two Jersey shore kids, there's no better place for Jen & Ryan to start the rest of their forever (and a day). They cannot wait to tie the knot with all the people they love most there to see it.
